(Pittsburgh) — The United Steelworkers (USW) today congratulated the Firestone Agricultural Workers Union of Liberia (FAWUL) on achieving a new collective bargaining agreement at the Firestone rubber plantation in Liberia. Pursuant to the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2005, the US Department of Labor has released a list of 122 goods from 58 countries that are produced by forced labor or child labor. Included in the list is rubber from Liberia.
